Losing It

This was after my 2nd chemo, just after my birthday. I have to admit, I was secretly hoping that I would be one of those lucky people whose hair didn't fall out during chemo. Oh well, it was all coming out in chunks and was creeping me out. We all decided it was time to lose it! As you can tell, I wasn't happy about it. Keep in mind, I just had chemo, so I wasn't happy being out of bed at all. As it turns out it didn't look that bad, really.

I love you

I was so happy when Marisella (my friend, and the best dancer/hip-hop teacher in the world) shown up on my birthday with my two bestest friends, Sagie and Paloma. Oh guys if you only know, how much I love you. You make me so happy!

33 years of age

Hey! finally turned 33. I've been looking forward to it all year. However didn't expects to be celebrating along side chemo thearaphy. Well it was nice to have Lin and Steve with me. We went to one of our favouraite resturant "Clark Lewis" in SE Portland. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves, DRINKING. I would kill for a glass of martini, follow by my favouriate glass of Champagne (Rosé), and some nice wine with dinner. Water tasted fine. Nevermind, I will do that next year. I was blessed to be with people that I love. Kate where were you?

Ron & Amy playing Hosts

Amy made the Albano's famous meat balls and pasta. There were plenty to eat and drink. Ron and Amy even put on a show for us. They are very pround of their Salsa's skills. Lin, Steve, Rick, Mum and I got wined and dined in style. Oh I didn't have any wine of course. It was one of many happy days during their visit. Could you believe I was throwing up earlier that day. I may not look it, but I was so out of it. See how good you can look with a little smile? Umm! I think Rick got to stop taking so many pictures of me. He's not in any of these pictures.

It must be love

Let me tell you how touched I was to see Lin and Steve gets on their hands and knees helping us clean our house. The cleanning lady didn't show up. So they'd decided to take matters in their own hands. Rick joined them in the cleaning fest. I sat back, relax and trying not to throw up into the nice newly shined toliet bowl. Yeah, it's clear he loves ME!
