A place we call home

When ever Rick and I feel low, we like to head south to join Rick's parents in Palm Spring. It's a magical place for us. So we took off down south with 16 hours worth of driving ahead of us. Naturally we stopped and rest in Ashland over night. We put on a book on tape and enjoyed each other's company for the rest of the way. Once we got there it was well worth the wait.

Since it was only a few weeks before I start chemo, there is nothing better to do than relaxing in the sun and get busy with the outdoor activities. Lisa also droved from San Diego to joined us (where's the picture of her/we are so bad at taking photos of others people) and Ron and Amy flew into PS to spend the week-end with the family. We had a great time, talking, drinking the usual stuff.

Grammie and Auntie Di came and visited us after the sibbling had left. It was so nice to see them. Rick and I haven't seen them for a while. Grammie is at the end of her radiation treatments (wishing it could be me too), and I just about to start my chemo. In the meantime I had managed to put all that aside and have some fun with them all.
