Happy Family

Our friend Andrea, Kevin and their little girl Vayle is in town for a visit. There are looking into a possibility of moving here. How bless are we? all of our friends want to move to Portland. I hope they will.

Rick and I experienced first hand parenting lastnight. This was Vayle first aeroplane trip, so she's having a hard time adjusting to a new enviorment. She didn't sleep very well lastnight and woken up crying many times. We got something to look forward to when we eventuallly have our own. I hope we don't have to get up in the middle of the night for very long. I like my sleep! (I'm probably being unrealistic-well I will adjust like everyone else!)

Anyway she is still darling to be around,usually a very happy baby, so easy for anyone to pick up. She is treating me like a step child for now. I am working on her warming up to me. I don't understand why she just want to be around her mum all the time. I'm fun too. Rick think that I'm scaring her. She likes Rick a lot actually, he talks and makes these funny faces that she likes.

Later on we all headed to Stoots and Jeff place in the Pearl district. Stoots is a good friend of Andrea, who is a newlywed. Jeff is her husband, who loves to ride bikes, read and cook good food. They were telling us about their 18 days honeymoon in Spain, mainly Barcelona. Just sounds so wonderful. I'm always love to hear a good trip story, especailly in another country. I love that. I like Stoots she's great.
