Feasting with Friends
Just got back from my Thailand trip. It was sad and disturbing in many ways, but don't worry I will be able to move on soon. Really glad to be back home. Very comforting to see Rick and talk to friends and family.
Basically I'm picking up where I left off. The same Saturday that my Dad passed, we had a dinner at our house. It was nice, because all our good friends were there to toast to my Dad! As usual everyone seems to have a good time, and enjoy the food and wine. However the curry was little too spicy, many trips to the bathroom for everyone!
Later all of us went to a local bowling alley to test our skills in Kareoke. We enjoy the usual performance by Rick (the professional) and Amy (the entertainer). It was the first time that we heard Travis sing, eventhough Nicole told us so many time how good of a singer he is. It's nothing like hearing in person, he touched us with "Hello". I think that was the song, we all had too much to drink, so it's kinna foggy now. Sheila and I played pool with the guys, and we beat them! (with very little help!) Yes we cheated, who cares, it's was all fun.
