Life is Beautiful

It's the morning of our 3 years anniversary, I realized how happy I am (we are) to have found each other 5 years ago. The story of how we met it's truely romantic. Our journey together has been blissful. We have not left each other sites from the day that we met and hoping to continue on that legacy on. We are each other's best friend. Oh I feel so special.
Someone once told us that as an anniversary's gift, it's good to buy something for your home. I never really see it that way before, and have always been greedy and wanting things for myself! Yep, May loves present! But please don't buy me any, I have so much stuff. (thank you in advance) We bought ourselves a wicker swing this year. Which is so modern and cheek, and the best part is, we only pay $50 for it. Great present honey! We just need to make a pillow for it. Rick kindly put it up lastnight, so we went ahead and took some pics for all the fam to see.
We had decided that we wanted to cook together tonight. One of my favouraite thing to do. Rick truely hates to be boss around! I have to say he follow directions well, and I don't so we are a good mix in the kitchen. There's a sneak preview of the menu, just click on it so you can see better. We will make everything together from scratch. God help us!
As a new chapter of our live begins, we decided to do more things for less fortunate people. Since my whole thing with cancer begins, we starting to realized that we are so bless with so much. Certainly not talking about money, we have none! Just feel lucky to be alive, have each other, surrounded by good family members, friends, and kind strangers. We eitther going to be helping kids with cancer, get involve with meal on wheels, baby sit for single parents, or teaching art to kids/olderly. We are not sure yet. I had put a call in and we will be deciding soon. Wish us luck.

Happy Anniversary! Too bad you both don't live closer...you could babysit for us married folk to get some practice before you start the charity work...ha ha ha! Seriously, that sounds wonderful. This is an area I would like to do more in as well. Love the idea of buying a gift for the home...I will suggest that for next year, but when the 10th anniversary comes...all bets are off...ha ha ha.

Congratulations once again! We tried to call. Either you were out or you didn't want to answer. Who could blame you? We watched VANITY FAIR tonight. Well, Lisa and I did. Dad couldn't stick it through. Just not his "cup of tea". Lisa kind of agreed, but at least she watched it. I liked it, although I dozed a little off and on.
Truly hope your anniversary was perfect. Still had trouble reading your menu. But I imagine it was great.

Happy anniversry, you two. Mom and I look forward to your coming down this weekend. Maybe we can take you guys to dinner at Lake of the Woods lodge for your anniversary. It would be appropriate since that's where you spent your honeymoon. Talk to you later.
Love,
Dad
